This is a different problem (the OP has a computer that doesn't quite make the specs).SOLIDWORKS and SW Data Management System Requirements It’s a HP – Dual core CPU Processor, 4400 2.00 GHz This afternoon, I tried to use VideoWave and MYDVD the original error message popped up - Runtime Error….Īs always, I would appreciate any suggestion from the Community to rectify my dilemma with the new “Creator 10” program. That was two days ago and the computer was rebooted overnight. Satisfied and relieved that everything worked, I didn’t save the VideoWave edits and just exited the program. I imported a mpg file (same as I did with the old Suite program), did some editing, playbacks, etc just to see the difference between the new and old program. After this procedure, I immediately tried to open VideoWave – no problem. The one that worked was to uninstall the old and new Roxio programs and reinstall the new program. I emailed Roxio Customer Care and they offered some resolutions to the Runtime Error. But now, I also have a C++ runtime error when I try to start VideoWave or MyDVD using the “Creator 10” program. I just upgraded to “Creator 10” from the 2007 version of “Easy Media Creator 10 Suite.” With the help from this Community, I became fairly proficient at editing my family’s 60 year old home movies using the old program. Although you say you have been to msconfig, you did not say what you did. Did you mean to say that you have Creator 2010 or do you have one of the OEM versions like Creator 10.2 or 10.3DE or SE?Īdditionally the OP has the issue only on certain application where you have it when you start the computer. If you have that, you do not have exactly the same problem. This is in reference to Roxio Creator 10 Pro.My system is as follows: Hard drive: Maxtor Sata 11/300 500GB (x2)Ĭd/dvd rom: Sony CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW 20x, (x2) Sound card: Creative XtremeGamerFatal1tyPro This is in reference to Roxio Creator 10 Pro. It works until I reboot the computer, then I get the same error message. I have been to "msconfig", I have used the repair program, and I have uninstalled and reistalled the program after first turning off the Norton Firewall and Anti-virus program. When you click the OK button it returns to the main sceen, a similar message happens when opening the video section. When I try an open Photosuite the following error message appears Ĭ:\program files\roxio 2010\photosuite 12\photosuite 12.exe Application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way Hi this is my fisrt time, so please go easy on me if this question has been asked before.
